Founded in 1987, OneTen Communications Group was not always that. Originally, the company was called simply; Tim Claflin Design. That’s who I was, and that’s what I did. Design. I designed everything. Logos, brochures, ads, posters, books, on and on. Winning awards along the way. Real awards, judged by real creatives. Not the awards that some can win today, where everyone is seemingly a winner, like youth sports and participatory awards. I digress. But the awards meant something and clients took notice. Business grew.
It also grew because of a simple philosophy. Call it corny, but I just wanted to make a living, not a killing. Doing good work at a fair price was good for the client, and ultimately, that’s who I work for. Their success is my success. OneTen Communications is essentially a one-man ad/design firm, seamlessly offering a full compendium of marketing communications services. Again; logos, brochures, ads, posters, but also much more. Because this isn’t 1987 anymore. Change is the only constant, and change I have. And so have my clients. Not just their geographic location, but also, their design and communications needs.
Less brochures and more web sites. Logos yes, but the over-arching brand is essential too. Trade shows supported not by a handout, but with interactive media. Magazine ads replaced by social media and web banners. The continued evolution of branding and the variety of digital platforms allows us to communicate at a more intimate level, and at greater speeds. Bringing a coherence and unity between strategies is what I do now. By continually exploring new marketing strategies, while delivering an intimacy of relationships and collaboration, OneTen continues to positively affect the outward facing of your brand. After all these years, and a sea of change, I still love what I do, and maybe I can do it for you.
